MATT SCHNEIDER, MA, LCMHC
About Matt
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and use my therapy gifts to provide sound counsel for those who are struggling. I graduated from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for my undergraduate degree.
I use an integrated model of therapy that is evidence based, interpersonal and attachment focused. I incorporate various modalities into the therapeutic process such as Interpersonal Processing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am trained in the Gottman Method, and use this in my work with couples.
I believe that therapy is a space for people to grow in self-awareness of themselves and others, and that this allows for more clarity and opportunities in life. Sometimes we need a guide to walk with us through difficult, confusing, and uncertain times. I brings authenticity and warmth to counseling and invite you to reach out if I can be of help.
