Matt is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and uses his therapy gifts to provide sound counsel for those who are struggling. He graduated from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree. Matt uses an integrated model of therapy that is evidence based, interpersonal and attachment focused. He incorporates various modalities into the therapeutic process such as Interpersonal Processing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Matt is trained in the Gottman Method, and uses this in his work with couples.

Matt believes that therapy is a space for people to grow in self-awareness of themselves and others, and that this allows for more clarity and opportunities in life. Sometimes we need a guide to walk with us through difficult, confusing, and uncertain times. Matt brings authenticity and warmth to counseling and invites you to reach out if he can be of help.
