ABOUT KAITLYN

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who received my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.

I find it is an honor to walk alongside others as they navigate a variety of life experiences and challenges. I believe therapy creates space for people to learn more about themselves, their story, and how they relate to others while also providing opportunities to re-examine and change thought patterns, behaviors, and relationships. I am committed to offering compassion, support, and empowerment. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, eating disorders & body image, spirituality, relationship issues, OCD, and life transitions. I primarily works with college & graduate students, young adults and couples.

I integrate various models of therapeutic practice to meet individual needs such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths Based approaches, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also Gottman Level 1 Certified and use that in my work with couples.

I live in Cary with my husband Mark, my son, William, and my Bernedoodle, Bear.
