Individual Therapy

With individual therapy (also known as individual psychotherapy or counseling), you’ll meet with one of our trained therapists in Durham, NC, one-on-one or through a video conference if that is more convenient. Your counselor will spend time getting to know you through talk therapy and develop a treatment plan that’s right for you. 

Individual therapy can help you overcome obstacles to your well-being, giving you the tools to self-manage even after therapy has ended. Through counseling, clients develop insights into behaviors and thought processes, learn problem-solving skills, and find alternatives to dysfunctional behaviors and thoughts.
